This study is part of research in poetics and stylistics. It poses the problem of the dialectic
of the sacred and the profane in the poetry of B. Zadi Zaourou. Its aim is notably to distinguish
between the part taken by initiatory discourses, emanating from the literary aesthetic of Didiga of
which this author is the champion, and the place devoted to many other sayings. His poetic art, in
fact, while drawing inspiration from Black African oral sources, keeps alive the sociolinguistic and
cultural uses of the moment. In Les quatrains du dégoût, this dichotomy impacts all the implementations
of ambient literariness. The resulting stylistic output is polarized between pleasant and foreign
isotopies. Our stance is qualitative and relies on the tools offered by both G. Molinié's semiostylistics
and B. Zadi Zaourou's translinguistic theories
