Political speech: between saying and doing

The political word, in its contextualization and in its expressive modalities, puts at the
heart of its praxis the subscription to the challenges of its operationalization. Between sophism and
pragmatism, political speech oscillates between lies and truth. The consubstantiality of saying and
doing, in political communication, certainly summons the art of communication as an art of political manipulation. It also suggests, however, an ethics of governance rehabilitating political rhetoric. Thus,
the current problem of the act of political communication cannot fail to take charge of modern
subjectivity, the rational subject, the individual endowed with rights. This reflection on political
speech, in the field of political communication, will be led to the philosophy of communication, in
its historical variations while questioning the ethical issues it carries
